Meet Attorney Rieman

Alexandra V. Rieman began her legal career in the practice areas of family law, probate, guardianship, and litigation. She has over 34 years of professional experience which has allowed her to hone in on the matters in which she is most passionate. After solidifying a successful career in family law, Alexandra pivoted to working in the court system to change and shape the practice area by implementing policies for guardianship and helping individuals who need it most. Alexandra's tireless efforts resulted in her successful work in implementing e-filing, guardianship counsel, and changes in the probate arena that ultimately were adopted system-wide in the 17th circuit. Combining decades of professional experience with personal experiences of assisting aging family members with cognitive decline, Alexandra provides compassion, passion, and results to her clients who require planning and probate protections. Alexandra's experiences as a champion inside the court system for policy change as well as a proponent for clients before the court, affords her the advantage of being a powerhouse advocate.

Professional Experience

Alexandra V. Rieman is an attorney, former Probate Counsel and General Counsel, and an educator. She has a robust career in private practice, has been instrumental in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit to develop and implement policy changes in the Probate area, and has influenced numerous students through her instruction at Broward College and Nova Southeastern University. With over 34 years in the legal practice, Alexandra has proven her influence to successfully advocate for and assist individuals.

Meet Attorney Kenney

Michelle R. Kenney earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and began her career in social work as a life coach and professional guardian. Her professional experiences gave her the knowledge and understanding of the relationship between the court and the individual who was under a guardianship. Her personal experiences of having a sibling with special needs gave her the knowledge and understanding of what assistance is required. Michelle gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in handling critical matters involving difficult and major life decisions. After working diligently as a professional guardian, Michelle became a paralegal and worked in the practice area of elder law. She had a pivotal career path change after solidifying her knowledge in the area of assisting individuals who require representation and protection when they cannot do so for themselves. Michelle went to law school and consummated years of personal and professional experience to become the ultimate advocate for individuals who require assistance, planning, and protection.

Professional Experience

Michelle R. Kenney is an attorney, mediator, and former professional guardian. Prior to obtaining her JD from NSU Shepard Broad College of Law in 2016, Michelle served vulnerable and disabled individuals in South Florida in various roles since 1994, with over 19 years in the guardianship community. Since 2001, she has provided over 1,500 hours of guardianship education nationally and in Florida to about 4,000 professionals and family members.
